Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2025

Clear, sensible terms governing your use of MediaVexa's free browser utilities.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MediaVexa website (https://mediavexa.com) and its associated tools, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the site.

2. Free Personal and Commercial Use

MediaVexa utilities are provided free of charge. You are free to use the tools to compress, resize, and convert images for personal projects, educational work, commercial client deliverables, and e-commerce websites without payment or licensing fees.

3. Content Ownership and Copyright

You retain full and exclusive ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights to all images, graphics, and photographs that you process with MediaVexa.

Because all processing executes strictly within your device's browser memory (client-side HTML5 Canvas), MediaVexa does not claim, acquire, or transfer any license or rights over your creative assets.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use MediaVexa only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate legal rights, licenses, or authorizations to process any images you load into the utilities. You agree not to attempt to interfere with site operations, inject malicious scripts, or disrupt the availability of the service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties (“As-Is”)

MediaVexa is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

While we strive to provide reliable and accurate compression algorithms, image processing results can vary depending on browser version, memory availability, and operating system decoders. You are encouraged to verify processed files before deploying them in production or deleting original backups.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MediaVexa, its creators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the utilities, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or workflow interruptions.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service periodically as new browser tools or features are introduced. Revisions become effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of MediaVexa following updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Questions regarding these terms may be submitted through our Contact Page.
