Data Transparency & Privacy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

MediaVexa is committed to transparent information practices. Below is a clear explanation of how browser-based image processing, web analytics, and advertising operate on this site.

A. Image Processing

Files process strictly inside your local browser via HTML5 Canvas. Your images are never uploaded to any remote server.

B. Web Analytics

Google Analytics 4 collects aggregate, non-personal metrics (page views, tool counts, device types) to evaluate usability.

C. Advertising

Google AdSense and certified ad partners use standard cookies to deliver advertisements on web pages.

1. Browser-Based Image Processing (Zero Server File Uploads)

MediaVexa's image utilities — including the Image Compressor, Image Resizer, and Image Format Converter — are architected to execute entirely within your client web browser on your own computer, phone, or tablet.

  • No Server File Uploads: When you select or drag an image into MediaVexa, the file is read into your browser's local runtime memory using the standard HTML5 File and ImageBitmap APIs. The image data is never uploaded, transferred, or copied to any MediaVexa server or external storage backend.
  • No File Storage or Retention: Because your image files never reach a server, MediaVexa does not inspect, log, store, catalog, or back up your media files or EXIF metadata.
  • Automatic Memory Cleanup: When you close or refresh your browser tab, or reset a tool, the temporary in-memory object URLs are immediately revoked by your browser.

2. Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-LCCF01BLL0) to understand aggregate website usage and improve usability.

Google Analytics collects standard anonymous statistical data, such as:

  • General browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited and route navigation paths
  • Aggregate tool interaction events (for example, counts of images compressed or resized)
  • General geographic region (country/city level, with IP anonymization enabled by default in GA4)

Note: Google Analytics never receives file names, image dimensions, file contents, or personal identity information from MediaVexa.

3. Advertising and Cookies (Google AdSense)

MediaVexa is funded in part through online advertising delivered by Google AdSense (Publisher ID: ca-pub-8418527448379923).

  • Google and its certified ad partners use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites across the Internet.
  • These advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve relevant advertisements to users based on navigation and browsing history.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by visiting www.aboutads.info.

4. User Accounts and Personal Data

MediaVexa does not offer or require user registration, logins, passwords, or credit card submissions. You do not need to provide personal identification to use any of our image utilities.

Any transient tool preferences (such as quality sliders or aspect ratio toggles) are maintained only within the current page runtime or browser session memory and are never tied to user profiles.

5. Questions Regarding Privacy

If you have questions about this privacy statement or our client-side processing design, you can reach out through our Contact Page.
